The mission of the STARS Foster Care Youth Services Program is to support youth and their families in the challenges of transitioning from childhood to adulthood.

The multi-disciplinary team provides a variety of mental health services:

  • Intensive case management (at home and in the community)


  • Crisis intervention


  • Individual, family and group counseling


  • Psychiatric evaluation (bi-lingual available)


  • Medication monitoring


  • Training and consultation with residential staff, families and caregivers


  • Wraparound services linking clients to vocational programs and housing; once the link is estabished, providing on-site support services

The STARS Foster Care Youth Services Program provides therapy and case management to clients with mental health issues, and the goal of the program is to teach youth how to access community resources and become more independent adults.
